Suresh Angadi Education Foundation (SAEF), established in the year 2008, has grown as an educational foundation of repute comprising several institutes providing quality education and yeomen service. SAEF comprises of “Angadi College of Commerce & Science (ACCS)”, started in the year 2009, which offers PUC (Commerce & Science), B.Com, B.Sc. and M. Com. In 2009, “Angadi Institute of Technology & Management (AITM)” was started, which offers under-graduate courses in Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, Mechanical, Computer Science, Civil, Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics. AITM offers post graduate course in Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Computer Application (MCA), Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Mechanical and Civil Engineering. AITM is also having VTU Recognized Ph.D. research centers in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electronic & Communication Engineering departments to conduct research work for research scholars to get Ph.D.
In the year 2013, Angadi Institute of Technology and Management added Diploma courses in Mechanical and Civil Engineering. In the year 2015, under the aegis of SAEF, “Angadi International School (AIS)” with CBSE curriculum was started. In the year 2016, “Angadi School of Architecture (ASA)” was started to cater the needs of the student community to pursue career in Architecture.
Our Founder Chairman, Late Shri. Suresh Angadiji was honored with ‘Excellent Contribution in Education’ award at the 2″” National Karnataka Education Summit & Awards, in recognition of the yeomen service rendered by SAEF to the cause of education. SAEF’s commitment to environment can be gauged from the fact that AITM has a unique green campus with state of the art Solar Roof Top power plant, the first of its kind for any educational institute in the state.
SAEF has grown in strength providing quality education to over 3000 students presently studying on its campuses. Co-curricular and extra-curricular activities add to the vibrancy on the campus. SAEF’s flagship institute AITM, is associated with prestigious institutes like NITTTR, Chandigarh and IIT Bombay & IIT Kharagpur for conducting online teaching sessions/workshops as their ICT remote centre. An active Placement Cell trains students in soft skills, aptitude and interviewing skills so that they can make a mark in their careers. Reputed organizations are associated with the placement activity undertaken by the institutes.
The faculties of SAEF’ have carried out research work in various field and published their research work in reputed international journals and conferences. Several patents have been filed by the faculties to protect the research work. The faculties have been invited as a speaker or resource person by various colleges and universities to share their research knowledge among researchers and scientists. The faculties are contributing to the research community by delivering the lectures, organizing workshops and conferences. The faculties have undertaken the roles of guiding doctoral research students, engaging in meaningful & applied research and participation in innovation and technology Summit. The prestigious award like Global Teacher Role Model is received by SAEF faculties for contributing to the teaching community.
Founder Chairman Message
Late. Dr. Suresh Angadi, Former MoS, Railways, Govt. of India, Former four-term Member of Parliament, Belagavi, and Founder Chairman, Suresh Angadi Education Foundation (SAEF) was a devout follower of Swami Vivekananda and his principles. His philosophy has been that education should not merely be gathering knowledge, rather it should be about developing the mind to broaden the horizon of thinking.
In 2008 he built “Suresh Angadi Education Foundation” on the pillars of Discipline, Dedication, and Determination with the intention to provide education to the person at the last mile so that even the needy have access to quality education. His aim was to provide quality education at an affordable cost, especially for rural students. He believed that the purpose of education is not just restricted to imparting academic knowledge but to inculcating among the student’s humanitarian values like wisdom, compassion, courage, humility, and integrity. In this regard, he always appealed to the students of SAEF to become fearless seekers of true knowledge in their quest for success. He always encouraged and motivated teachers so that they keep the flame of inquisitiveness alive among the students. His dream was to make Belagavi a top educational hub in this country by providing excellent educational facilities to students who come from various backgrounds. Lastly, he believed and lived upto the saying “WORK IS WORSHIP”. A proverb repeatedly reminds us that it is essential to take intent in what we do. Unless we follow our passion and do what we generally love to do, we will never be able to achieve success.
